Accessibility Statement

Intixa is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including people with disabilities, regardless of how they access the web.

The standard we work to

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium. These guidelines cover visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning and neurological disabilities.

Current status

This site is self-assessed against WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We have not commissioned a third-party audit, and we would rather say so plainly than imply a certification we do not hold.

Our most recent assessment, on 14 September 2026, used automated testing with axe-core and Lighthouse across desktop and mobile viewports, alongside manual checks. It returned no violations at Level A or AA. Automated testing reliably catches only a portion of accessibility barriers, so we treat a clean result as a floor rather than a finish line.

What is in place

  • A “skip to main content” link for keyboard and screen reader users.
  • Semantic HTML with landmark regions, and headings in a logical order.
  • Visible focus indicators on every interactive control.
  • Text and interface colours meeting AA contrast ratios, including captions set over video.
  • A control to pause the moving content in the page header, and full respect for the operating system’s “reduce motion” setting.
  • Text that reflows and remains readable when zoomed or viewed on a small screen.
  • Labelled form fields, with errors reported in text rather than by colour alone.
  • Decorative imagery and background video marked so assistive technology skips it.

Known limitations

We would rather name these than leave you to find them:

  • Google reCAPTCHA protects our contact form. It is a third-party component we cannot modify, and it may present difficulties for some users. If it blocks you, please use the email address or telephone numbers below — we will always accept an enquiry another way.
  • Background video in the page header is decorative and carries no information that is not also in the text beside it. It has no audio track and can be paused.

Telling us about a problem

If you encounter a barrier on this site, we want to know. Please tell us what you were trying to do, the page you were on, and the browser or assistive technology you were using, and we will respond within five working days.

If our response does not resolve the issue, please say so and we will escalate it internally rather than close it.

We reassess this site when it changes materially, and at least annually. This statement was last reviewed on 14 September 2026.
